We do our ministry primarily on Sundays because we don't believe in keeping people "off the streets" and "in the church." We want to equip and teach on Sundays and see the rest of the week as our time of being on the mission field of our families, school, work, sports teams, etc. If we spend all of our time in the church then we are missing so much of what Jesus intended for us(Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." Matthew 28:19-20 ESV, "Ido not ask that youtake them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world." John 17:15-18 ESV). All that being said....

We believe:

Ø Lives can be changed through Bible-centered, relevant teaching/preaching.

Ø All Christians are to become godly servant-leaders.

Ø God calls us to be in Biblical community through small groups.

Ø We are to worship with passion and be

committed to prayer.

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the Bethel United Methodist Church is to:

Ø Share God's Word

Ø Be sensitive to God's will through the study of

His Word within our fellowship

Ø Provide programs to involve all ages

Ø Reach out in Christ's love through evangelism and

missions in our local, national, and world-wide

communities

Ø Be united as one in commitment to Jesus Christ

in order that He be glorified.
