J.D. Young, (John David Young), is coming to lead the BUMC Youth / Young Adult Ministry on May 1, 2010.  J.D. is from Milford. He graduated form the University of Toledo in Communications, and has begun his seminary training. He's been involved with Campus Crusade for Christ, and previously served at Faith Evangelical Free Chuch as a youth intern, and at Williamsburg United Methodist Church as a part time youth pastor.  

J.D. is already well-known to our youth and young adults through volunteer in our youth band drummer's spot, retreat worker, substitute speaker, and other occasional roles through his friendship with his predecessor and friend, Dustin Nimmo. He enters this position with a good history of positive connection with our youth and young adults.
